Celebrating our heritage and keeping traditions alive

My name is Aiden, and i am the founder of this company. i fisrt starded braiding hair on myself, learning from various videos online. When i finally started to get the hang of it, and wear braids out more often my friends started to notice, and want them too. For me braids were not just a hairstyle, ofcourse it was a significant part of my culture, but it was also a way to make my thick and curly hair more managable. When my friends started asking me to make their hair, it was first a hobby, but when i started to notice that interest was growing, i could make a profit from it. And taking into account that these styles done professionally cost hundreds of dollars i knew it was an easy way for me to make some money. As a person part of Yoruba culture, and many others spanning from South Asia to West Africa and central Europe we know hair is not just hair, it is a significant part of our culture. Imbeded in many many long years of important Nigerian, African, and worldwide history, at Aiden's African braiding we honour our culture, while spreading, sharing, and keeping it alive today.
